Truly Innovative

Electric Light-up chair: Innovative, and functional. Seems like a bit of a waste of energy, but overall, the design is superb. +1 for the maker.

My question to the readers is- would you buy it? And if so, how much would you be willing to pay?

  5. If it was comfortable, had the ability to change colors or go along with music, I might consider buying it for 20 - 50 dollars

  9. I would buy it if it was $80 or less. I'm very cheap when it comes to furniture. Like Ikea cheap.

  10. looks more like an art piece rather than a functional piece of furniture. Would buy it if it is cheap...

  13. It looks very cool, but if you were sitting on it reading, surely you'd be blocking out your own light?

  14. I would not buy it at all because it looks like it would collapse when I sat on it.
    Probably very warm though!

  15. It depends on how much electricity it used, if it was a series of LEDs I would definitely want that

  16. 90 bucks sounds like a fair price to me. It doesn't seem overly sturdy though.

  29. That is pretty cool.
I'd worry about it draining tons of electricity though. And it might overheat. It would have to be a really comfy chair...

  30. pretty cool idea. a bio-luminescent chair would solve the energy consumption problem. might be a more expensive retail price though..
