Random thoughts - Passion Pit

Passion Pit is epic. What could be better. 5 guys jamming, with synths, mad vocals, and unbelievable beats. How do you guys feel about PP? To be honest, I think they're a "true" group. They play honest music, not what everybody wants to hear.

Truly Innovative

Electric Light-up chair: Innovative, and functional. Seems like a bit of a waste of energy, but overall, the design is superb. +1 for the maker.

My question to the readers is- would you buy it? And if so, how much would you be willing to pay?

Japan Design

Great design; or GREATEST design?
This Japanese house is truly an innovative motion - sleek, yet simple. Bold, yet unique. Classy, yet casual. Not much to say about it, other than if you're a follower of me, you'll most likely agree!

The Fedora

Today, after getting out of work, I took a moment to just stand outside and relax.
I watched a young boy walk by in a fedora. This kid was about, oh, I'd say 11 or 12.
The only thing I have to say on the matter is this: The fedora is unacceptable to wear unless you can pull it off, and chances are, you can't.
How do you feel about it?

Origami

Origami - an ancient art form. Beautiful, clean, elaborate.
No matter how you describe it, one thing is certain - it takes skill. Skill that people spend years perfecting, and skills that most people never quite attain.
I'm not here to preach about the skills origami requires, however. I'm here to simply show you what I found while browsing the web this morning. The above origami piece truly defines an "innovative motion." It brings together an ancient art form with a modern-day marvel. The word "Awesome" doesn't do it justice.

Great ideas then, Great ideas now

Art, specifically furniture, has advanced over the past 50 years. Greatly. However, there seems to be a sentiment in the US that makes us want to go back to those retro 1950s chairs that lets face it, aren't very comfortable. However, when someone chooses new furniture they have to make a decision. What is more important: Style or comfort?
From where I stand, I think most modern furniture is ugly. 1950s ideas in furniture were prime, and that's why they still stand.
It's a choice you have to make with a lot of things, to be honest. In my opinion, style is more important to an extent. There are circumstances where comfort does take priority, and I guess it is just a matter of individual situations.

Toddy Cold Brew System

Today at a friends house I came upon not only a brilliant idea, but an equally brilliant product.

The Toddy Cold Brew System eliminates all need for those old glass jars with teabags in the fridge overnight- this system truly defines an innovative idea. And you can't go wrong for the simple price of just over $35. Looks clean, and works like a charm.

So go check them out at http://toddycafe.com.. It's worth it.
